How does it connect — PC or TV?

You'll need a Windows/Linux PC or Raspberry Pi to run it. Mount the sensors on your TV or projector, slot in the 1TB game card, and you're good to go. Keep in mind — this isn't a plug-and-play console, it requires a computer to operate.
Is it compatible with PS5, Xbox, or Steam Deck?

No. Our gun only works with Windows, Linux and Android OS. While it works perfectly on Steam Deck (in Desktop Mode), it is not compatible with PS5 or Xbox as these consoles do not support the external lightgun drivers required for our system.

100% yes. Our IR-based tech leaves old CRT limitations behind — it's fully compatible with LED, OLED, 4K displays, and projectors up to 150 inches. Screen size is no issue.
How does the cover system work if there's no foot pedal?

Classic light-gun games like Time Crisis use a "cover" mechanic — you duck behind cover to reload and stay safe, then pop out to shoot. In the arcade, that was a foot pedal. On the RetroPistol, that pedal is built right into the controller as a dedicated button. Press it to come out of cover and fire, release to duck back down. Exact same gameplay — just no pedal to trip over. It's all in your hand.

Definitely. The system supports up to 4 players at once! — just choose the 2 Players Set and you'll get two independently functioning pistols that work simultaneously on the same screen.

Works With Any Screen
The RetroPistol™ uses a built-in camera that tracks 4 IR sensors — adapting to whatever screen you have at home, from a 24" monitor to a 95" projector screen.
The sweet spot is 33" to 55" — that's where tracking is sharpest and the experience feels most like the real arcade. Most of our demo content was filmed on a 55" TV.
Minimum distance is the closest you can stand before accuracy drops. Optimal distance is where you'll get the most precise aiming.
Bigger screen = more room to move. Maximum supported size is 100" diagonal.
