Do games come with it, or just the controller?

Grab a Bundle version and you'll get our 1TB Retro Stick USB Card packed with 15,000+ classic arcade titles ready to go. Opt for the standalone pistol and you'll receive the controller and sensors only.

How does it connect — PC or TV?

You'll need a Windows/Linux PC or Raspberry Pi to run it. Mount the sensors on your TV or projector, slot in the 1TB game card, and you're good to go. Keep in mind — this isn't a plug-and-play console, it requires a computer to operate.

Is it compatible with PS5, Xbox, or Steam Deck?

No. Our gun only works with Windows, Linux and Android OS. While it works perfectly on Steam Deck (in Desktop Mode), it is not compatible with PS5 or Xbox as these consoles do not support the external lightgun drivers required for our system.

Will it work on a modern flatscreen or projector?

100% yes. Our IR-based tech leaves old CRT limitations behind — it's fully compatible with LED, OLED, 4K displays, and projectors up to 150 inches. Screen size is no issue.

Can two players go head-to-head?

Definitely. The system supports local multiplayer — just choose the 2 Players Set and you'll get two independently functioning pistols that work simultaneously on the same screen.

We get the doubt, and that's fair. The Retro Pistol is a passion project made by gamers, for gamers. We use proven IR technology, process payments securely via credit card with full buyer protection, and have live demo footage across our social channels so you can see it for yourself.

Do you ship internationally?

We ship to virtually anywhere in the world using tracked couriers. Expect delivery within 6–15 business days based on your location, and you'll get a tracking number the moment your order leaves our warehouse.

Our Story!

We're just two friends who got tired of mobile gaming feeling like a compromise. Tapping a glass screen during a firefight? No thanks. So we built the controller we always wanted — something that felt real, played sharp, and looked like it meant business. The retro pistol came later, born out of a late-night idea and way too much nostalgia for arcade light guns. Both products are designed for players who take their fun seriously. That's the whole company.
